DUNDEE -- Mrs. Amelia Chaluisant of Dundee died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Wednesday (Sept. 13, 2006) in Dundee. She was 93.
Born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, on May 6, 1913, she came to Dundee from New York in 2002. She was a dress maker. She was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Chaluisant was preceded in death by her husband, Zigfredo Nin. She is survived by her son, Ismael Nin, New York; daughters, Elsa Vega, Dundee, Maria Nin, Kissimmee; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
