| | James Joseph Blanchard KISSIMMEE -- Mr. James Joseph Blanchard of Kissimmee died of heart failure Saturday (Sept. 9, 2006) in Kissimmee. He was 76.
Born in Baltic, Conn., on Nov. 8, 1929, he came to Kissimmee from Naples in 2005. He was a supervisor for General Dynamics in New London, Conn.
Mr. Blanchard is survived by his wife, Mary Theresa Murphy Blanchard; daughter, Theresa Mary Smith, Norwich, Conn.; sons, Joseph James Blanchard, Monroe, Ga., John Joseph Blanchard, James John Blanchard, both of Kissimmee; sister, Theresa M. Blanchard, Pinellas Park; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
