LAKE ALFRED - Bobbie Lee (Hixson) Brown, 56, of Lake Alfred died Saturday, September 9, 2006. Born in Winter Park on October 29, 1949, she came to Lake Alfred in October 2000, moving her from Chuluota. She was a Real Estate Secretary for 25 years in the Orlando area with Gale Associates, Real Estate One, and Caldwell Bankers. She was also a homemaker and an avid collector of antique glassware and furniture. She enjoyed outdoor activities and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was a Baptist. Survived by husband Sparlin Lee Brown of Lake Alfred, son Donald Earl Brown of Geneva, daughter Vanessa Brown of Lake Alfred, mother "Cookie" Hixson of Winter Haven, brother James Hixson of Orlando, and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Oak Ridge Funeral Care on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at 2:30PM. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Avenue Auburndale, FL 33823.
