DAVENPORT -- Mr. Roger Dale Massey of Davenport died of heart failure Tuesday (Sept. 5, 2006) in Davenport. He was 57.
Born in Lake Wales on Feb. 4, 1949, he came to Davenport from Lake Wales in the 1950s. He was an auto transmission mechanic. He was a member of Lighthouse of Holiness Church in Haines City.
Mr. Massey is survived by his wife, Ethylene Massey; daughter, Mary Massey, Davenport; stepson, David Giddens, Davenport; brothers, Henry Wade Massey and Tommy Joe Massey, both of Lake Wales, Royce Beasley Massey, Winter Haven; five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
