AUBURNDALE -- Mr. Jack Wayne Callihan of Auburndale died of heart failure Thursday (Sept. 22, 2005) in Auburndale. He was 73.
Born in Cheap, Ky., on Feb. 2, 1932, Mr. Callihan came to Auburndale from Toledo, Ohio, in 1971. He owned and operated Callihan Fence Company in Auburndale. He was a retired car inspector for C & O Railroad and was the past president of the BTO Train Association. He was a former member of the Auburndale Lions Club. He was non-denominational.
Mr. Callihan is survived by his daughter, Judith Eisenman, Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio; sons, Jack Callihan, Haines City, William Callihan, Timothy Callihan, Christopher Callihan, all of Auburndale, Kelly Callihan, Winter Haven, Tedd Callihan, Jacksonville; sister, Margaret Kinney, Toledo; 19 grandchildren; numerous greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 11 A.M. Monday, September 26, 2005 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Auburndale Memorial Park.
