HAINES CITY -- Mr. Harold M. Pierce of Haines City died of heart failure Tuesday (Sept. 20, 2005) in Winter Haven. He was 76.

Born in Jeffersonville, Ohio, on July 31, 1929, Mr. Pierce came to Haines City from Orlando in 1968. He was the retired owner of Pierce's Body Shop in Haines City. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Florence Pierce; sons, Larry Pierce, Robert Pierce, Michael Pierce, all of Haines City, David Pierce, Bruce Pierce, Brian Pierce, all of Lakeland, Richard Pierce, Winter Haven; sister, Patricia Archer, Lakeland; 13 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at North Ridge Baptist Church in Haines City. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
