Warren Henry Oswald

 

WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Warren Henry Oswald of Winter Haven died of heart failure Monday (Aug. 29, 2005) in Winter Haven. He was 79.

Born in Allentown, Pa., on May 14, 1926, he came to Winter Haven from Emmons, Pa., 20 years ago. He was a salesman for Ritter and Smith and for Allentown Bethlehem Lumber Co. in Allentown. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a prisoner of war. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 8 in Winter Haven and a life member of the Cetronia Fire Company in Cetronia, Pa. He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Clubmen's Association in Lehigh Valley, Pa. He was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Winter Haven.

Mr. Oswald is survived by his wife, Jean M. Oswald; daughter, Barbara Stone, Winter Haven; brother, Harold Oswald, Kentucky; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 Friday at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Services will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
