EAGLE LAKE -- Mr. James B. Shouppe of Eagle Lake died of cancer Monday (Oct. 17, 2005) in Eagle Lake. He was 66.

Born in Jackson County on Oct. 15, 1939, he came to Eagle Lake from Enterprise, Ala., in 1953. He was a supervisor for Lykes-Pasco.

Mr. Shouppe is survived by his mother, Myrtle Shouppe, Eagle Lake; daughters, Angela Clark, Fort Myers, Janet Crawford, Kathleen, Hannah Jansen, Horsehead, N.Y.; brother, John L. Shouppe, Eagle Lake; sister, JoAnn Smith, Eagle Lake; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Church of Christ Cemetery, Eagle Lake.
