POLK CITY -- Mr. Robert Rutter of Polk City died of heart failure Sunday (Oct. 16, 2005) at home. He was 75.

Born in Florida on Aug. 25, 1930, he was a longtime resident of Polk County. He was a retired supervisor of maintenance for Florida Mining and Material in Polk City. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Rutter is survived by his sons, James "Bobby" Rutter, Davenport, Joseph Rutter, Port St. John, Kenneth Rutter, Satellite Beach; sisters, Irene Shire, Auburndale, Johnnie Easley, Davenport.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport.
