WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Barry Edward Stephens of Winter Haven died of a heart attack Saturday (Oct. 8, 2005). He was 55.

Born April 19, 1950, in Chattanooga, Tenn., Mr. Stephens moved to Winter Haven from Wildwood, Ga., in 1990. He owned Advanced Air Conditioning Inc., Advanced Commercial Maintenance Inc. and Advanced Doors Inc. He was a member of the Rock church of Winter Haven and AOPA.

Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Stephens. He is survived by his father, Elmer Stephens, Wildwood; daughters, Sandra Salley, Jacksonville, Samantha Stephens, Winter Haven, Leslie Latham; sons, Robert Stephens and Travis Stephens, both of Winter Haven; sister, Coleen Ripper, Wildwood; nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Rock Church of Winter Haven.
