FROSTPROOF -- Mrs. Cheryl G. Fowler-Evans of Frostproof died of cancer Friday (Oct. 7, 2005) in Frostproof. She was 59.

Born in Winter Haven on Nov. 15, 1945, she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Fowler-Evans is survived by her sons, Billy Cain, Winter Haven, Mark Cain, Haines City; daughter, Carla Mejia, Frostproof; brother, Douglas Nichols, Davenport; sisters, Glenda Rice, Bettie Jo Jackson, both of Davenport; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Davenport.
