HAINES CITY -- Ms. Marie B. Fry of Haines City died of heart failure Friday (Nov. 25, 2005). She was 97.

Born Nov. 29, 1907, in Glennville, Ga., Ms. Fry moved to Haines City from Tucson, Ariz. She worked as a telephone operator.

Ms. Fry is survived by her brother, Harold Bacon, Haines City, and sisters, Ella Lee Dozier, Arlington, Texas, Florie Gunterberg, St. Simons Island, Ga., and Mary Fowler, Wilma Higgins and Bobbie Huntt, all of Haines City.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
