DAVENPORT-- Fred Edge, 78 of Haines City, Florida passed away Thursday, July 28, 2005 in Davenport due to kidney and heart complications.

Born June 11, 1927 in Warrior, Alabama, he moved to Haines City in 1994 from Memphis, Tennessee.  He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Haines City; served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.Mr. Edge was retired as a Civil Engineer from Buckhart-Horn Consulting, Inc  in Memphis TN.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Locklear Edge of Haines City, FL; two daughters, Dianne Ferguson of Hampton, VA and Kimberly Petracek of Dublin, CA; a brother, Ledonial Edge of LaGrange, TN; a sister, Margaret Cannon of Haines City, FL; Two Grandsons; and tow Granddaughters.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the Eastside Baptist Church, Haines City, FL.  Interment will be at 11:ooam, Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
