WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Virginia E. Hunt of Winter Haven died of complications from Parkinson's disease Sunday (July 24, 2005). She was 78.

Born July 16, 1927, in Charleston, W. Va., she moved to Winter Haven from Mishawaka, Ind., in 1963. She was a homemaker. She attended Faith Ministries in Lakeland.

Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Hunt Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia D. Parker, Joyce Murdoch and Mary Susan Gilkey, all of Winter Haven, and Charlene Childs, Lavonia, Ga.,; sons, James Edward Hunt Jr. and John Edwin Hunt, both of Winter Haven; brother, Adam Conley, Barree Creek, W. Va.; six grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven.
