Alberta Tyndal, 92, of Burnsville, N.C., died of heart failure on Wednesday, July 13, 2005.

A native of Uvalda, Ga., she moved to North Carolina from the area six years ago.

She was a homemaker and member of West Side Baptist Church, Haines City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tyndal, in 1991; four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Edward Tyndal of Haines City, and Eugene Tyndal and Ronnie Tyndal, both of Auburndale; five daughters, Barbara Slivers of Burnsville, N.C., Brendia Ritchie of Lakeland, Joyce Carver of Winter Haven, Geraldean Gow of Indian Estates, and Shirley Watring of Lake Alfred; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home
