Rita Marie Comer, 75, of Winter Haven, died of heart failure on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Winter Haven Hospital.

A native of Jamestown, N.D., she came to the area in 1983 from Shore View, Minn.

She was a personnel manager of Control Data Co. She was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Minnesota. She attended Hamile University and graduated from Minnesota Metropolitan University.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph L. Comer of Winter Haven; a son, Gregory H. Comer of Ham Lake, Minn.; two daughters, Vicki Day of Stillwater, Minn., and Cinthia Hanzilk of Lino Lakes, Minn.; and a sister Annice Hargens of Oak Ridge, Wis.

Interment will be in Minneapolis at Fort Smelling National Cemetery.
