DAVENPORT -- Mr. Dwight Gary of Davenport died of heart failure Thursday (Aug. 25, 2005) in Davenport. He was 60.

Born in Mattawamkeag, Maine, on May 2, 1945, Mr. Gary came to Davenport from Maine 15 years ago. He was a field mechanic for Rinker Materials in Haines City. He attended the Rock of Cleveland Church.

Mr. Gary is survived by his wife, Carol Gary; sons, Dwight Edward Gary II, Davenport, Mark Wade Gary, Cleveland, Ga.; stepsons, Barry Thompson and Kurth Allen Thompson, both of Maine; sisters, Edith Deerborn, Frances Andrews, Arline Fogg and Carline McLaine, all of Maine; brothers, Frank Ray Gary and Carl Gary, both of Maine; nine grandchildren.
