Walter Scott Hight, 92, of Dundee, died of heart failure on Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Lake Zurich, Ill.

A native of Lake Zurich, Ill, he moved to Dundee in 1980 from Chicago.

He was a partner and operator of the Village Food Mart of Stone Park, Ill. He was a member of Dundee United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the Naval Reserves.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hight.

Survivors include a son, Douglas S. Hight of Green Bay, Wis.; and a daughter, Debra Miller of Fox River Grove, Ill., and three grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 13, 2005 at Community United Methodist Church Fox River Groves, Ill.
