| | Dr. James Dance Morgan WINTER HAVEN -- Dr. James Dance Morgan, 74, of Winter Haven died Sunday, July 31, 2005 due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Born November 5, 1930 in Plant City, FL he moved to the area in 1966. He was a Physician and Medical Director at Florida First in Winter Haven. A member of: the Winter Haven Kiwanis Club; Habitat for Humanity; the American College of Physicians; and was an alumnus of the U.S. Naval Academy. Dr. Morgan was also a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Augustus Morgan, Jr and Valentine Dance Morgan. He is survived by: his wife, Darlene Ethridge Morgan; two sons, Steven J. Morgan of Charleston, SC and Darren C. Morgan of Portland, OR; a daughter, Merry C. Morgan of Bradenton, FL; and a brother, William C. Morgan of Sarasota, FL. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, August 13, 2005 in the Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven with Rev. Alan Ford of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church officiating.
