Bert Veldman
 

DAVENPORT -- Mr. Bert Veldman of Davenport died of cancer Thursday (June 16, 2005) in Auburndale. He was 67.

Born July 16, 1937, in Albert Lea, Minn., he came here from Becker, Minn., in 1993. He was a veteran of the Marines. He was a warehouse processer for Merck Pharmacy. He was a member and on the Church Council at Faith Lutheran Church, Becker. He was a member of the Pleasant Lake Board Association. He was president of Pebble Creek Court Association and Annandale Lion's Club.

Mr. Veldman is survived by his wife, Marilyn Veldman; son, Paul Veldman, Valrico; daughter, Lori Hogan, Maple Lake, Minn.; brothers, Pete Veldman, St. Paul, Minn., Albert Veldman and William Veldman, both of Hollondale, Minn.; five grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church, Becker.
