Robert Turbyfill

WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Robert Dean Turbyfill of Winter Haven died of heart failure Thursday (June 16, 2005) in Lakeland. He was 70.

Born in Spruce Pine, N.C., on Sept. 12, 1934, he came to Winter Haven from Hickory, N.C., in 1962. He was a parts salesman for Linder Machinery Company. He was an Army veteran. He attended Westwood Baptist Church.

Mr. Turbyfill is survived by his wife, Pat Turbyfill; daughters, Sabrina Butler, Winter Haven, Sandy Reeves, Auburndale; mother, Lillian Drum, Hickory, N.C.; stepfather, Tom Drum, Hickory, NC; sister, Kathleen King, Hickory, NC; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2005 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Westwood Missionary Baptist Church, Avenue G, Winter Haven, with Pastor Clyde Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Auburndale Memorial Park.
