William E. Jones

WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. William F. Jones of Winter Haven died of heart failure Friday (June 17, 2005) at Winter Haven Hospital. He was 64.

Born June 10, 1941, in Madera, Calif., he came here from Michigan 33 years ago. He was a carpenter. He was a veteran of the Navy who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Linda L. Jones; sons, Ronald Jones and Wes Jones, both of Winter Haven, Kevin Jones, Lakeland; daughter, Cindy Mims, Winter Haven; sisters, Charlene Fain, Hartford, Mich., Norma Lee McCrea, Hartford; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
